Anne uses molecular, biochemical, physiological and behavioral approaches to understand how animals cope with environmental change and the mechanisms underlying sensitivity to stress. Her research program focuses both on the conservation physiology of aquatic species in temperate and polar environments as well as strategies for managing stress in sustainable aquaculture.
